Affiliate disclosure
BOTH may earn a commission when you purchase through some links on this site. That never changes our evidence standard, testing labels, or editorial conclusions.
How affiliate links work
Commercial links are marked with rel=sponsored and disclosed near relevant content. We do not publish unverified partner URLs, prices, discount codes, or commission claims as consumer offers.
Commissions
When you purchase through an affiliate link, BOTH may receive a commission from the merchant or network. Commission rates vary by partner and do not influence how BOTH classifies evidence or testing status.
Editorial independence
Products are listed when they fit the editorial context and evidence standard—not because of commission rate. Affiliate relationships never change how BOTH classifies evidence, labels testing status, or explains why a product appears on a page.
Non-affiliate coverage
BOTH may cover products, ingredients, and topics with no affiliate relationship. Conversely, affiliate partnerships do not guarantee favorable coverage—products that do not earn a place are not listed.
Select vs Learn
Select surfaces commercially available products with transparent disclosure. Learn and Evidence exist independent of affiliate status. Commercial prioritization affects which topics we cover sooner—never what the research says.
Disclosure placement
Page-level and product-level disclosures appear where affiliate links are live. Internal commercial pipeline statuses are not shown to visitors.
